Responsibitilies and Tasks
Firmware Design
Designing, coding and debugging firmwares for DT’s X-Ray detector module.
A) Design, develop, integrate new firmware features as assigned by the Firmware or project Lead.
Firmware testing and quality assurance.
Create all necessary documentation.
A) Release and maintain Firmware deliverables as needed.
Customer technical support.
C) Provide the weekly work status report to the project lead or manager
System Level Test
A) Responsible for system level test in PC project.
B) Support production testing.
Other
A) Project manager assistant, in this case project planning and follow up including schedule, resource and financial management will be included.
B) Undertakes special projects and other duties as assigned.
Competences and qualifications
Professional Competences
Good knowledge and skills for FPGA/CPLD design and implementation
Experience with VHDL or Verilog code development.
Experience with Keil C 8051 code development.
Experience with Integrated Development Environment tool (a Quartus II and Keil uVision2).
Experience in using oscilloscope & Logic Analyzer for debugging and tracking problems.
Familiar with timing design and simulation tools (Modelsim)
Qualifications
BS or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
At least 5 years of FPGA and MCS-51 Micro-Controller firmware development experience and 2 years hardware design working experience.
Supporting Competences
Good verbal and written communications skills.
Must be highly motivated and skillful at solving difficult technical problems.
Experience with Ethernet and USB protocols.
Knowledge of electronics hardware design.

DT: Systems development manager, project manager, Product manager, software design engineer.
Customers: all customers.
