Position Summary： We are seeking a positive and energetic Supplier Quality Engineer to support WX site with a Zero-Defect mindset, strong passion in driving process improvements and problem solving with external suppliers. The candidate would join a multi-national team which works together to ensure the delivery of high-quality and compliance material through active collaboration with suppliers and internal team across regions.Key Responsibility：1.Responsibile for assigned external LED chip suppliers for the whole product lifecycle2.Develop automotive chip suppliers to highest quality standards using “Zero Tolerance to Defect” methodology and approach 3. Perform assessment and ****uation of new suppliers in global cross functional teams with focus on Quality Management.4.Perform process audits at suppliers, following IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standards to ensure compliance and meeting the standards and requirement of the organization5.Support and setup on approval of technical chip specifications with supplier, R&D, production and procurement team6.Qualification planning for new chips from external suppliers with R&D and reliability team for final release to production7.Identify areas for improvements & set up / review relevant process KPIs for critical processes8.Review and perform risk assessment on Supplier Process Change request and support internal Change Management workflow. Qualification：1.Technical degree (Bachelor or higher) in Physics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Material Science or equivalent2. Minimum 8 – 10 years’ experience in Semiconductor Industry preferably in LED Chip Fabrication, Packaging & Quality related field 3.Possess strong organization and complex problem-solving skills 4.Ability to think strategically and work independently with minimum supervision5.Fast learner and excellent communicator/negotiator both in English and Chinese6.Willingness to travel in short notice with supplier management know-how7.Automotive **** and in-depth knowledge on Automotive Core Tools (8D, FMEA, 5WHY, VDA6.3, IATF 16949, etc.) 8.Knowledge and understanding on physical failure analysis, electron microscopy, testing of semiconductor devices would be advantageous
